Central defender Lee Mair became St Mirren's first new signing of the 2009 close season when he put pen to paper on a two year deal.

The 29-year-old Aberdonian started his career with Dundee where he also had loan spells with East Fife and Falkirk before leaving in the summer of 2004 to join Stockport County.

In 2005 Mair came back north of the border to take his place with the other side of the Dundee divide as he headed to Tannadice and United.

The summer of 2007 saw the defender head further north to join his home town team of Aberdeen where he made 53 first team appearances.

Lee made 40 appearances for Saints last season.
