On January 6th 2011, midfielder Jim Goodwin agreed on a deal with the Club that will see him play with St Mirren until at least the end of this season.
The 29-year-old kicked-off his career with Celtic but having made only one appearance for the Glasgow side he moved to Stockport County in 2002.
Three years and 199 appearances later Goodwin signed for Scunthorpe where he stayed until 2008 when he moved to Huddersfield Town.
The midfielder wasn't in the reckoning that much at the Galpharm Stadium so he went on loan to Oldham Athletic midway through the 2009-2010 season.
During last summer Goodwin signed a six month deal for Hamilton Academical where he made 14 appearances for Billy Reid's side.
Has been capped for the Republic of Ireland at Under 21, 'B' and full international level.
Jim made his debut for Saints two days after signing in a Scottish Cup tie against Peterhead at St Mirren Park.
