U19: Hibernian 3-3 St Mirren
St Mirren's Under 19 side took the lead twice today against Hibernian at their Ormiston training ground but had to settle for a share of the points in an exciting 3-3 draw.
It was the home side who struck first blood on the 7th minute when Scott Smith made a cool finish to put Hibernian a goal up.
Four minutes later the young Buddies were back on level terms thanks to a well struck shot from Jamie McKernon. Bradley Coyne then fired Saints into the lead two minutes later to leave the home side reeling.
The game was flowing from end to end but it was Hibernian who pulled level on the 35th minute when Ryan Frances unfortunately put the ball through his own goal.
The young Saints started the second half well and eventually took the lead on the 71st minute thanks to a great finish by Craig Slater.
But David Longwell's young side failed to hold on to their lead as Hibernian squared the match up on the 80th minute thanks to a strike from Marc Lancaster.
