Last night a St Mirren XI faced Carlton YM in a challenge match to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the amateur side.

The Saints XI was mainly made up of David Longwell's Under 19 side but it also included first team manager, Danny Lennon who pulled the boots back on for the match.

On the night, Saints ran out 2-0 winners thanks to goals from Mark Lamont and Kenny McLean

All proceeds from the match went to Carlton YM.
