It has been confirmed this evening that St Mirren Football Club have offered David Barron a 2 year extension to his existing contract.

The defender - who won the majority of the fan awards last season - came from the Under 19 side to first team status making his debut in the 2007-2008 season.

David is on course for a century of first team appearances over the course of the new season having accrued 75 to date.
