It has been confirmed this afternoon that Mark McLennan has signed a one year contract with St Mirren Football Club.

The youngster played with the Under 19 side the last two seasons and was released at the end of last season but Danny Lennon brought Mark back in for pre-season training and has been impressed with the 19-year-old.

Mark's team-mate from his Under 19 days, Jon McShane, has agreed to go on loan to Second Division side Dumbarton.

The loan deal is up till the opening of the January 2011 Transfer Window.
