Midfielder Sean Lynch put pen to paper on a one year deal this afternoon after impressing in his trial period during this pre-season.

The 23-year-old started out in his playing career with Hibernian, coming through their youth system and going on to make his first team debut on April 5th 2006 in a SPL match against Kilmarnock.

In the second half of the 2007-2008 season the midfielder went out on loan to St Johnstone but an injury hastened his return to Easter Road.

In the summer of 2008 Lynch moved to Falkirk who released him at the end of last season.

It has also been confirmed that Saints manager, Danny Lennon won't be following up his interest in midfelder Stephen Glass.
