General Manager, Brian Caldwell said of the news: "We successfully hosted the Under 21 game between Scotland and Belarus last October so we are really pleased to get another international match so quickly.

"The feedback from the SFA has noted that the facilities that we have on offer at the stadium play a big part in bringing these international matches here to St Mirren Park.

"It goes without saying that we are honoured to host the match and that we'll do our utmost to make the experience here a good one for everybody on the night."
