U19: St Mirren 1-0 Rangers
A late second half goal from Jon McShane saw the St Mirren Under 19 side end the season with a 1-0 victory against their Rangers counterparts at McKenna Park this afternoon.
The victory also saw the young Saints leap-frog Aberdeen to claim a season ending 5th position in the Clydesdale Bank Under 19 League.
David Longwell (St Mirren's Head of Youth Development) said after the game: "The boys were terrific today! The played really well and created a lot of chances, they really should have scored more.
"I was delighted as despite it being the last game of the season the boys continued to show an excellent attitude and the overall performance was extremely good.
"All our players have done really well this season and today was a fitting way to end the season."
