St Mirren's Under 19 side continued their recent run of good form with an impressive 4-0 victory against Kilmarnock at McKenna Park this afternoon.

Jon McShane fired Saints into the lead on the 37th minute thanks to a really good finish from the striker.

Sean Burns doubled Saints tally on the 53rd minute and then McShane struck again 11 minutes from the end.

As the game seeped into stoppage time Kilmarnock scored an own goal to complete the victory for St Mirren.

St Mirren line-up: Cunningham, Gray, Love, McKernon (Slater), Kennedy, Little (Naismith), Team, Devlin, McShane, Burns, Ramage (Coyne).

David Longwell (St Mirren's Head of Youth Development) said after the game: "The boys did really well at times and created a lot of chances which was really pleasing.

"It was a really positive performance especially as we had a number of players missing today and some younger players had to step up to take their place."
