St Mirren will face Rangers in the final of the Co-operative Insurance Cup as the Glasgow side won their semi-final 2-0 against St Johnstone at Hampden Park this evening.

The cup final tie is scheduled for Sunday, March 21st at Hampden Park.

The kick-off time is as yet to be confirmed.

St Mirren earned their place in the final by winning 1-0 against Hearts at Fir Park last night.  Saints also had to get past East Stirlingshire, Ayr United, Kilmarnock and Motherwell to win through to their first appearance in a final of this competition since 1955.

Please note that St Mirren's Clydesdale Bank Premier League fixture against Motherwell on Saturday, March 20th will now be postponed and will be rescheduled at a later date.
